Wrought Iron Haven

Filed under: my write up, poem — Tags: — admin @ 2:11 pm

My cousin has recently got his own place before marriage and though he likes it with the minimal and essential furniture mainly comprising of a refrigerator, an oven, a bed, a tooth brush stand and a table and chair set(give or take a few). It was my sister-in-law’s task to make his bachelor pad a home where he can expect his life to have all the precious moments in. Like any woman, she was prepared for the challenge and was hyped up at decorating the 2 bedroom apartment with a terrace garden. She stumbled upon this wrought iron website and totally adored all the cute and beautiful furniture they had. My sister-in-law had to be cautious with the furniture purchase. Not only did the look and quality mattered, the budget was set and wouldn’t be wavered.

That was when she found this backdoor on the website which gets great discount to the customers and can be accessed by the “comma” in the sentence “Our Store now has over 1,300 home & garden items for you to choose from!” halfway down the main web page. She had so many options for dining room, bathroom, office and houseware that she had a tough time on deciding the best one to buy. Curtain rods was one thing that got her in a fix because every curtain rod came with its own set of curtain rings, curtain shelf brackets, Tie backs, curtain rod brackets and so on that she couldn’t decide which ones to purchase. She finally decided on three sets which were absolutely adorable to the entire arrangement.

While she was successful with the interior decorations, she took some rest for her pregnancy and decided to make the terrace garden much more safer and beautiful for her child. She started gardening as a hobby and used this garden décor that makes it look like heaven on earth. Though it took her months to complete the decoration of their apartment, they now refer to it as their DREAM HOME.

Judge gently

Pray, don’t find fault with the man that limps
Or stumbles along the road.
Unless you have worn the shoes he wears
Or struggled beneath his load.

There may be tacks in his shoes that hurt
Though hidden away from view.
Or the burden he bears placed on your back
Might cause you to stumble too.

Don’t sneer at the man who’s down today
Unless you have felt the blow
That caused his fall or felt the shame
That only the fallen know.

You may be strong but still the blow
That was his if dealt to you
In the selfsame way, at the selfsame time
Might cause you to stagger too.

Don’t be too harsh with the man that sins
Or pelt him with word or stone
Unless you are sure - yea, doubly sure -
That you have no sins of your own.

For you know, perhaps,
If the tempter’s voice should whisper as soft to you
As it did to him when he went astray
It might cause you to falter too.

Let’s all try to be a little bit more sympathetic to others.

Let’s try to live life with a clear conscience.

Let’s not judge others.

Let’s treat everyone like we want to be treated.

Let’s act as Jesus would want us to act.

Let’s not just talk about it.

Let’s really do it!

Starting right now!!
